Life's little disappointments, have you had any?

Mine was at a friends wedding. I was invited to the evening do and I heard from the bride that there would be cheesecake. Now I bloody love a cheesecake, so I was so disappointed that it turned out to be a 3 tier cake of actual cheese. I'd saved all my weight watchers point for that cheesecake.

Completely understand your disappointment as an avid lover of cheesecake not "cake made of cheese" too op 😂

Oh! That is disappointing.

I was fortunate enough to go to Canada earlier this year. I thought great! I'll go to gap and old navy and stock up on basics. 15 years ago I would come home from summercamp with a whole new wardrobe from those stores. This time there was NOTHING that I wanted to buy. I got one pair of shorts in GAP and I think a tshirt in Old Navy. So disappointed.

Yes I have. My sister said she was bringing treats for a train journey just before Xmas and I thought Oo, that'll be crisps, maybe even something in the Maltesers direction. No. It was dried bananas and gluten free flapjack. Neither of us are coeliac.

You didn’t tuck in anyway did you? You know, before the bride and groom had had a chance to cut it? Wink

The only cans in the machine at work today were bloody Vimto and Irn Bru. Who drinks that crap? I was disappointed: first day back at work after Christmas and in a fragile state.
