Help re Facebook blocking

Dogsmellssobadbob · 02/01/2019 19:55

If someone who is in the same FB group with me has blocked me from FB as a whole (so I haven’t blocked them as I can’t now see them to block), can they temporarily unblock me and read what I type within the group?
If so then I wouldn’t know would I and I can’t block them as I can’t search for them to block?

Does that make any sense?!

You can’t re block someone within 48 hrs for Just this reason

SpongeBobJudgeyPants · 02/01/2019 19:57

You can't block and unblock on the same day, there is a time limit on it. can't remember how long, but presumably to avoid on/off blocking.

Yep you're correct!

They can unblock you, see what you've said and then reblock you and you wouldn't know.

Alternatively they may already be able to see what you're saying without having to unblock you as it can come up in group chats as just " Facebook User " and then the message they've said without their name displayed. This happened to me with someone I blocked.

No they blocked me over a week ago. I now assume they can’t see what I write within this group but can see replies to me

I wish I could block them so they never see why I write but I can’t see them to block them as they blocked me!!
But does this mean they have the power to unblock me whenever they like and read what I put and I won’t know unless I keep checking if I can’t see them?

Oh no really? So no way I can avoid them reading my posts? I’ll have to leave the group then. What a shame
