What watch for DS aged 11?

We got DS a watch in September as his previous one that he’d had a few years and rarely wore had stopped working. The jewellers confirmed it couldn’t be repaired.
He chose a simple analogue watch with a black plastic strap and that was waterproof.
Unfortunately he has taken to chewing it when nervous / stressed and has progressively destroyed the bits to hold the strap in place and now the strap itself. We said he could pay for a replacement strap (under £10) and if he could keep it intact maybe get him a new better one for his birthday in a few months.
But there are no straps in a suitable colour and so DP has said it makes more sense to get him a new one. Any ideas please?

I bought my 11 year old a Lorus watch from John Lewis for Christmas. About £30, seems to do the job. They had a good choice.

My 12 year old likes this style of watch. He did beep it a lot in the beginning but it calmed down after a while
