Anyone else have 3 hours worth of restless sleep? It says I’ve been restless 22 times and woken up once in my sleep from 3am to 2pm (no work today , kids slept out at Nana’s ) . I should’ve got 10 hrs but instead git 7hrs due to this ? How can I not be restless and is this normal . What are your Fitbit results ?

Mine would tell me I’d had 3 hours of sleep whennI thought I’d had 6 or so. This stressed me slightly (!) so I stopped wearing it at night. Hopefully it’s not very accurate...

Xmasmummy987 · 02/01/2019 19:16

How much time was spent awake or being restless did it say ?

This is mine from last night. It doesn't specify restless, but I clocked 46 mins awake. I never get much deep sleep, this is quite a good night for me, and I get substantially more light sleep than average. I find it fairly accurate- at least in that it seems to recognise if I've had a rubbish night, and accurately tracks when I'm aware of being up or when Ds wakes.

Should add I got 5hr 55 m in light sleep.

Xmasmummy987 · 02/01/2019 20:05

Does it show results like that on Fitbit Alta or no ?

Mine last night.

2 hours deep sleep is unusual. My norm is 1 hour 15 mins. I felt like I slept really badly last night too.

Tower god I would love to get 2 hours deep sleep! Some nights I get something stupid like 4 minutes!

Xmas yes, mine's a Fitbit AltaHR. If you want to see those graphs, click on the individual days sleep and it opens it up, you can then compare with your 30 day average

Bloodybridget · 02/01/2019 21:25

I don't trust my Fitbit re sleep. I noticed in the first few months that I had it, that it didn't bear much resemblance to what I remembered of the night, so I don't even look at it any more.

Autu · 02/01/2019 21:59

I have a fitbit Alta HR. I think it’s pretty accurate re sleep. Here is mine from last night. I usually get very little deep sleep and I’m awake quite a bit. Sleep is much more disturbed the week before my period is due and if I take a sleeping tablet like Nytol or Sleepeze I get more deep sleep.

I have a regular Alta without heart rate so it doesn’t do it . Might sell this one and get the hr due to this feature though

Mine is wrong quite often but I have a resting heart rate in the high 50s so when I lie still in bed awake it thinks I'm sleeping.

CrispbuttyNo1 · 03/01/2019 00:12

Mine last night. It was a bit weird for the first couple of nights when I started wearing it (since xmas day) but it seems to be settling down now and is fairly accurate.

Does anyone’s show how long you’ve been awake or restless for ?

FromEden · 03/01/2019 01:26

According to my Fitbit I get hardly any deep sleep, an hour is a good night, usually only about 30 mins. I don't feel particularly tired, most mornings I wake up refreshed so I'm not sure how accurate it really is.

Adventuritis · 03/01/2019 03:03

If you click on “benchmark” it will compare your results with the average.

Twigletaddict · 03/01/2019 03:17

I think mine is fairly accurate, I don’t sleep very well generally but if I do sleep properly it does register.

thenewaveragebear1983 · 03/01/2019 07:45

Mine did show awake/restless last night because it didn't track properly. I had a rubbish night, I'm a terrible insomniac and I felt like my heart was pounding all night. It did the simplified graph because it couldn't read my heart rate properly. It did however suggest that I'd had a much better night than I feel like I had.

Last night.

I took mine off the sensitive mode and the record is more accurate I would say.

silkpyjamasallday · 03/01/2019 07:53

I stopped using mine to track sleep as it was too depressing, one night I had a total of 58 minutes asleep due to frequently waking DD. She sleeps better now but I'm an insomniac so it's still just a reminder of how little sleep I'm getting and I feel it demotivates me.
