What's your best, simple slow cooker recipe?

Just ordered a slow cooker (3.5 litre, hoping that's big enough).

Looking for some simple recipes as cooking is not something i'm gifted at unfortunately 🙈

Thanks ☺️

Shoulder of pork - cut the fat off. Bottle of Paul Newman's bbq sauce poured over and a can of red coke. Tear apart with two forks after about 8/10 hours on low. Pulled pork delish!

Are you on Facebook? There’s a group called slow cooked wonders which has loads of recipes. Sorry I would link some but just about to dish up tea - not slow cooked so could burn!

Rolled brisket from the butcher, onion cut into chunks, carrot batons (they fit better), chunks of celery, two tablespoons each of vinegar (malt or balsamic) and soy sauce.

Eight hours on high, bingo! Pulled beef and gravy.

Meatballs on low for eight hours. They go sooooooo tender.

I put mine in the fridge the night before in the sauce.

Root vegetables chopped, ox cheeks, beef stock with a glug of red wine if you fancy it.

Cook on low for about 6hrs.

Demolish (goes nice with green veg and/or mash)

Brisket or topside.
Garlic, crushed.
Celery, onion, carrots cut into rough chunks.
Oregano
Salt & pepper.
Jar or carton of tomato juice.

When it's done whiz up all the veg in the tomato juice to make a lovely gravy.
It's a big favourite with my family.

This is a great lentil daal recipe

I use curry powder instead of all the separate spices. I also pop in some cauliflower florets sometimes, a couple of hours before serving. This recipe makes loads! I make half this amount and it’ll see me through 5 lunches with boiled rice or naan bread.
