Selling textbooks - how can I find out which ones are out of print/worth more

My second thread today about selling (you can tel it's January!)

I have a lot of books from university hat I should probably pass on, however they're all older editions so unlikely to be snapped up by current students unless they're rare/out of print versions. Even better, a friend sold one of their architecture text books for £80 recently!

Short of putting the details of each into amazon, is there any way of finding out what's rare/sought after?

Thanks!

There's music magpie, we buy books and similar ones where you can scan books to sell? Won't get as much as selling privately on Amazon though but quicker and easier.

Try abebooks.co.uk - they list second hand books for sale from many independent book shops in the UK and USA. You'll still need to input the book details but you'll get an idea of what your particular editions might sell for.
