Steering clear of the feminist book recommendations I've been hitting as I want a bit of time off back into the fiction world

After something- well written, gripping, quite dark, not really Into romance stuff, more psychological thriller/horror or dark depressing shit

The Bees. It's a thriller set in a beehive. Sounds odd, but it's great.

That does in deed sound intriguing . I have down loaded a sample (as it's 5.49) shall hit that later!

The Cuckoo (or was it just Cuckoo ?) was quite good - psych thriller type book: read it Christmas Eve in one sitting

Suicide club. It's a futuristic world where rich people get to live for hundreds of years. It's really good.
Gone girl. Just brilliant. I couldn't put it down.
Crazy rich Asians.

Grief is a thing with Feather. It’s short, dark and intense.

I read “the couple next door” in a couple of days over Xmas.
Girl on a train kind of read, I enjoyed it.

Oh- and Peter James: they were DOTD on Kindle a couple of weeks ago.

Possession, Twilight, Prophecy - all were good: sort of crossover between psychological and thriller
