Has anyone got married in a museum?

Specifically the natural history museum in London. It’s always been my dream but somehow have got DP on board. But as a guest:

1. would the location put you off? No parking nearby and it would be London prices. Most guests will be around a 30minuet train journey from central London. I don’t want to make it to the expensive for guests. Reception would end in time to get the last trains home.

2. am I likely to loose guests to the museum? Won’t have exclusive use of the venue, just one of the galleries so as a guest would you wander off to explore the museum?

3. Is the whole idea a bit naff? We don’t want a traditional venue but is this to out there?

We were married in the Royal Armouries museum at Fort Nelson. They were fantastic and organized everything like clockwork!
Everyone could look round the museum after the ceremony and we had a gun salute. My son was allowed to fire the gun
