Can I use hand-wash Daz powder in my washing machine or is that the worst idea ever?

I bought Daz hand-wash powder accidentally. I never hand-wash I just push the garmets to the bottom of the wash basket forever. Can I throw the Daz in the washing machine so as not to waste it or is that a bad idea?

It may have extra foaming agent with it being handbags so if you use it do it sparingly.

Hand wash not handbag

I always do this and have never had a problem and I didn't realise it was for handwashing only until now.

I don't put huge amounts in though so not sure if that makes a difference?

I put handwash powder in my machine years ago by accident. It froths up too much for a front loading automatic so the machine stopped. I realised what I had done while the engineer was looking at the machine. I owned up and he didn't charge me. Since then I keep the handwash powder far away from the washing machine!

Only use a small amount as it foams much, much more than automatic!
