Mosquitoes/something joyously feasting on my face!

Does anyone have any tips for making mosquito bites go down? Since I got here, (Spain) something's been eating my face. 3 gigantic flaming red lumps on my jaw line, and then I woke up this morning and can barely open my left eye. I look like I've been twatted in the face it's that bad.

Anyone have any tips for making it go down? It looks truly awful. 😣

Are they definitely bites? Could it be shingles?

I'd say so Nova, I am prone to shingles now and again, and symptoms were nothing like this. Could be fleas, i've been sharing a bed with a puppy. Never had fleabites like this mind. My eyelid looks hilarious!

Some on left arm too miralis. They seem disinterested in the right side, thank fuck. Didn't think of antihistimines, brilliant idea. 😊

Whatever's biting me must be on steroids or something. Sigh.

I could have written this a month ago and I'm in Uk! It was mosquitoes I think due to the warm weather where we are. I caught the offending one each morning but only after I'd been bitten on the right side of my face and right arm. I react horrendously so couldn't open my eye and my arm made me look like Popeye. I put cold wet cloths on the areas I could cover ( J cloths were perfect) and this brought the heating swelling down a little. The obvious antihistamines didn't touch it. Time was the healer I'm afraid

Thanks Troubles, I've stuck used teabags and wet cloths in freezer. I guess sunglasses will be in order, or even a paper bag...

And another thought, do everything in your power to keep them out of your room. Can you buy one of the plug in things? Ive got one for my motorhome and also burn those morsqiotoe repellants when outside. Cant remember what they're called but they're like a long green snail and you burn the end

Aha, yes! No mozziie coils, but I can baste myself in DEET before bed tonight.

Are you sure it's not bed bites?

Google the pattern they make, it sounds like a possibility but hope for your sake it's not
