I’m a health student currently completing a placement in a local NHS trust. Their car parks are governed by parking eye. At the beginning of my placement, as every other time I’ve been in, I paid for a months parking in the staff car park.
Over the last 10 days, I’ve received 8 fines from parking eye, £35 each.
I’ve contacted my trust facilitator and am confident it is a clerical error - I have my receipt for parking etc, and prevails incorrect fines I am aware of the trust handled.
However, my car is a lease car - and I get charged £10 for each fine for ‘administration’, so £80 so far. Obviously I am appealing the charges and expect the trust to back me up, but I also really REALLY need that £80 reimbursed. I’m a student, it’s January, I’m skint basically. I just can’t see them reimbursing me without me taking them to court which I don’t have the headspace or funds for.
Anyone got any ideas?
