Wireless Headphones

Can anyone please recommend me a nice set of over-ear wireless headphones?

Sound quality doesn't need to be too good but I'd like them to be lightweight, and good for a smallish head!

Sorry for the boring thread!

I recently got a pair that are built into a headband. I got them for sleeping but have hardly taken them off. Lots of options on amazon.

Ooh they sound amazing! and like they will drown out the sound of the kids

Do they have to be over the ear? I've just got some apple air pods and they are amazing. I was worried about losing one but they are surprisingly snug and secure.

Airpods good quality? Meh, they sound like shite...

My daughter got these for Christmas. Haven't tried them out yet so can't comment on sound quality but they are small and light (my mum was worried they would too small for her head, she's 7Grin).

I wear Apple Airpods most of the time.
For over-ear, I've a pair of EP650 www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00F54Y6GU/?tag=mumsnetforum-21 which are very good value indeed.
For noisecancelling, I got a pair of Bose Quietcomfort 35 www.amazon.co.uk/Bose-QuietComfort-Wireless-Headphones-Cancelling-Black/dp/B0756CYWWD?tag=mumsnetforum-21 on massive discount. They are superb for travel, but too warm to be walking around in.

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 01/01/2019 01:37

Ha, my dc are too young to in good conscience drown them out completely, but they certainly take the edge off dh's snoring Wink. I find a lot of ear buds heavy after a while so these ones being in a headband and sitting over my ear work well for me.

NewYoiker · 01/01/2019 02:45

Bose they're amazing

PoliticalBiscuit · 01/01/2019 07:29

I tried Bose but found them a bit heavy - the noise quality was fantastic though.

If you want/need to hear what's going on around you, try Aftershokz bone-conducting ones. Nothing goes in or over the ear. Mainly sold for sport.

SimplySteve · 02/01/2019 06:32

The Sony I recommended in my earlier post are significantly lighter then the Bose QC35 (of which my DP has a pair).

Whowouldathunkit · 02/01/2019 07:35

You WILL lose at least one of them within the first weekGrin

soberexpat · 02/01/2019 08:00

apple airpods are amazing. i listen to a lot of podcasts so always have them in around the house. i also run with them and they don't shift. they're brilliant!
