This year mumsnetters have supported me with: perimenopause; depression; my DS's probable ASD and training my crazy pup. So many of you have been patient and kind as I have asked my stupid questions and I honestly think you saved my life back in May.

You have educated me on so many topics and this is the one place where I feel safe and valued as a poster.

I name-change frequently but from me and my alter-egos: thank you, and happy new year.

I love mumsnet. I don't have a huge amount of friends in real life, it sounds
cheesy but I feel like I'm part of a community here.

One of the things I love is no matter how daft you think a question might be, someone always takes the time to answer.

Happy new year OP 😊

Absolutely! It gives me faith in human nature.Smile

Mumsnet gave me the strength to walk out the door when my XH was abusive.
I knew you would all be behind me. I didn't feel alone.

Thank you all on here

You helped me with my new born
You helped me see sense and flee my b**tard abuser

Love this forum
Yes there are times some can be rude unnecessarily but it really has helped me being on this site so much

What an absolutely lovely post, ithinktomyself. Thank you and all the best for 2019.

4 years ago I remember posting a thank you to mumsnet on NYE after the help and support leaving my ex husband. Like a pp, I feel part of something, even though I don't post often. I can guarantee that whatever I am feeling or struggling with, there will be a thread on here related to it. I have laughed, cried, squirmed and cringed and learned so much about things i never even knew i needed to know! I hope I have helped others over the years too.
Happy New Year you wonderful people-may 2019 be everything you desire.

Yes, well done OP. This is a great thread. Mumsnet has become a one stop shop for so many things. It's filled the gap where other services have not been available: NHS / counsellors/ travel agents / midwives / family / friends!
Thanks to all and Happy New Year to you.
