Jimmy Osmond has had a stroke.

I posted in 30 days. Really sad. I know he's a chunky fella ,but I do think he's a great guy.

He does seem a sweetie.
He has a family history of a related heart issue.

I'm devastated. I mentioned him on the "nicest celebrities" thread a couple of days ago - I met him earlier this year and he was just lovely with everybody, and so down-to-earth and normal.

Magenta46 - he's barrel-chested rather than chunky. I imagine with 50 years' singing career, he's got much larger and more powerful lungs than most people.

He had another stroke a few years back. He always seemed so kind. He has a lovely voice too.

Such a shame - he seems lovely, and I had such a crush on him when I was 10! I hope he is back to full health soon.

I heard that on the radio and thought "He's not old enough", then realised he's the same age as me, always has been. I hope he's okay, seems a lovely guy.

I hope he recovers. I'm sure he's having the best care.
