i usually say aarrr but i feel abit daft, or
"ah he looks like he's waving" can't really say he's got your nose.

For many years, quick 'Congrats', whilst heading urgently in another direction: cause I genuinely didn't want to rain on their parade, but the glimpse of a scan picture brought a wave of pain.
Not all scans bring good news.

"Oh wow" and then if it's not whipped away quikish then "isn't the detail amazing"

I love scan picture. I always say that's it beautiful (love babies) and ask them to point out stuff or say look at the lovely clear picture of the arm/leg etc.

these are all good. i did once say "hasn't he got long legs"
he hadn't , i didn't know weather it was his arm or leg, i just didn't know what to say.another time i asked if it was a boy or was that the cord
might just stick with congratulations to be on the safe side

I've often wondered what the point is of showing your scan photo to all and sundry. I totally understand that family and close friends will want to see it,but showing it uninvited to various random people? Nah.

Where the head? Which bit is which? To be honest I could never make head nor tail of my own scans so didn't care if others could!

The lady who scanned me with DS pointed out that he was obviously a boy. All I saw was a load of grey. Not obvious at all to me!
