Hi all,

So my new years resolution is to visit London more. We live so close (25 mins on train to Liverpool Street) but my 2 children (5 and almost 7) have never been into London.

Im making a list of places to go - can anyone recommend their favourite places?

Thanks

The south bank centre. Lots to do in and around there. Never been with a child but I could see it being great for them.

Science Museum and Natural History Museum are recurring favourites
Museum of Childhood
National Maritime Museum (we get a river bus to it which the kids love!)
Wandering down the South Bank, sometimes getting a river bus to Borough Market
The Postal Museum - your 7yo might be getting a little too old for the play room (my eldest is 5 so I am not sure) but there is also a train ride within it
London Transport Museum - pricey ticket but it lasts a whole year so worth it if you'll go more than once

Victoria and Albert museum. Currently has an extremely cool video games exhibition- you have to pay to get in to that bit but it is so worth it.
