Davina 7 Minute Fit - anybody up for a support thread.

I’m so cross with myself. 2018 has been the official year of letting myself go - I was fit enough to run a 10k non-stop in 2017 and was doing Pilates, yoga, training runs and over 10k steps a day.

Then for no good reason it all stopped, I gained about a stone and oh my Jesus, the Christmas photos Shock

I’m going on holiday in a month, and while I know that I’m not going to be able to transform myself radically in that time, it would be nice to drop a few pounds and at least look and feel a little bit better...

So to that end, I’ve (literally) dusted off my Davina 7 minute fit DVD, and I’ve just done my first session. My plan is to do it every single day, but I need some accountability.

Does anyone fancy joining me?

I fancy doing a fitness video of some sort. Do you recommend Davina? I've always done Jillian Michaels before but I was looking on sky store and noticed they had Davina available. I like the idea of it being already on the tv- no excuses!

I run a lot but my poor feet can't cope with daily 10kms anymore. I need to incorporate some strength training, and also some no impact training like swimming.

I have one of Davina's but I find that the moves don't go with the music.
I tried tabata hip hop on YouTube yesterday and it looked fun.

What I've tried of Jillian Michaels doesn't seem to have that much cardio and much more strength type things so not as much fun. Also couldn't walk for days after it whereas I'm only slightly stuff after the things I did yesterday.

I’ve had some quick results from Davina in the past - and the 7 minutes isn’t too daunting.

Even if we can just motivate each other to do something each day, it would be great!
