What’s for breakfast?

My DCs seem to only eat bacon!
Any good ideas? They like dippy eggs and one will eat eggs Benedict but we’ve had that a lot lately.

Ideas, please?

I fancy beans on toast this morning... with lots of cheese

Poached eggs and hash browns

My ds is a total bacon fiend! He would have it every day if he could.
He also likes smoked salmon bagels, marmite on toast, boiled egg and soldiers and croissants.

I made this yesterday which was lovely (to use up the puff pastry in the fridge).

I just had a cheese and tomato sandwich, I'd been dreaming about them.

I literally googled puff pastry, cheese and egg recipe for breakfast 😂.

It was lovely.

We are doing Veganuary here.

Weekdays we have cereals, porridge, toast, eggs in various forms. Weekends we have bacon/sausage sandwiches and pancakes.

Cereals or porridge in the week.
Weekends, bacon sandwich, croissant, Danish pastry, waffles, potato cakes.

Jam on toast this morning as that's what dd wants!

I had toast and jam. Dd had breadsticks with melon and strawberries. She refused toast but breadsticks were ok apparently.

Yoghurt with honey and banana for the dc here this morning. They asked for it!
Tomorrow will be bacon, not sure with what yet either pancakes, french toast or eggs benedict.

Love all the savoury breakfasts! Mmmmm puff pastry thing looks yum. Maybe beans on toast? Not had for yonks. I kind of fancy a cheese toastie... anything that stays away from the bacon! Oh and I ran out of cheddar!!!! Unheard of.

Shreddies with spoon for me and fingers for 8 month old!! And banana oat pancakes. And some grapes!

Walnuts and After Eights!

I had a slice of toast. DC are staying at their grandparents' so have probably had coco pops or similar that I won't buy.

Usually we have porridge, cereal or scrambled eggs on toast but fancied something terrible for you this morning before good intentions start.

I was given a new cookbook for Christmas and just cooked breakfast out of it - it was lush!!! Potato cakes, sausage patties, charred tomatoes and spring onions, and crisped potato skins (from making the potato cakes). Very much a weekend/holiday brunch though.

Usual school day breakfasts include dippy eggs and soldiers, sausage or bacon or ham sandwiches, porridge with fruit, previously frozen pancakes warmed over in the toaster, or toast with honey and ricotta.

(Those things that look like cremated bacon are the potato skin crisps!)

This morning freshly baked croissants, yesterday I made American pancakes and had them with bacon and maple syrup. Everyone is going to be well naffed off when it's back to school and I shove a brioche at them on the way out.

We had pancakes. I bought a huge bag of pancake mix from Costco. I had mine with peanut butter and bananas, the DC's had theirs with chocolate spread and strawberries.
