Must get better with money next year.

I keep seeing ads for Plum, but wondered if anyone can recommend a good app for tracking and saving money?

I have both Chip and Plum and have found both really good. You can set the rate you want to save and they both send you a message when they will take the money from your bank account. You can then cancel it if you want. I managed to save £600 last year without even noticing which was brill.

I have both plum- for the physical saving bit and Cleo is AMAZING for tracking spending.

Oh I need to do this!

How do they work?

Plum is through fb messaging and Chip is an app. You have to link to your bank account but it was dead simple to do. If you google you will find all the info you need.

For tracking, alongside the bank apps, I use goodbudget.com app. It's worked well for us to keep an eye on spending and savings though automating as much of spending and savings through standing orders and such as possible probably did just as much if not more.

I desperately need one as well. My New Years resolution is to keep track of spending.
