Not necessarily for kids …. staying there on way from family over new year and have not been there for a while, but have been to the museum in the past.
Anywhere good for a wander or interesting sights?

Go to the Coconut Tree for food - easily the best meal I have ever eaten!

Pittville Park or Cleeve Hill for a walk. You are also close to the Cotswold villages which are very pretty. My favourites are Stow and Bourton on water.

Wrap up warm if you choose to go to stow on the cold!

Gloucester cathedral? A walk around Tewkesbury. Sudely castle. The races are on in Chelt on New year's day though just incase you weren't aware. It will get busy in Cheltenham.

Are you aware there are races on on NYD, it gets a huge attendance especially as it’s not that cold this year and will be HEAVING
