Film that HAS aged well - the Truman show. Still so relevant and could be made today

Film that hasn't aged well - Sixteen Candles. Watched it recently as I loved it as a teen. Full of racism, alluding to raping a young woman, sexual harassment and deeply sexist.

Dead Poets Society has aged really badly. The snippets of casual misogyny here and there are bad enough, but as an adult I think the teacher's actions are unprofessional, he doesn't so much challenge boundaries as shred them to pieces and there are far better ways of dealing with bullying parents than forcing a vulnerable kid into a confrontation that they will never win

Yes!! I LOVE Robin Williams and that movie and in my youth I thought he was such an aspirational character. Now I work in a school and realise how unprofessional he was. Also I used to think that the Josh Charles chasing after the girl was sooo romantic but actually he was harassing a woman who told him time and again to back off
