Low back pain - how it feels before period but not due

Just before my period I get an ache in my lower back, but never when ovulating. Today is day 12 of my cycle, I have this backache that feels like my period will start but I'm not due. What else could it be?

Ovulation pains - since DC2 I get them. I also get PMT like symptoms for about 24 hrs. Then I get both again (for my period) 2 weeks later 🙄

I think the same. Feels like my kidneys and I worry and drink loads of water but I remember this last month too. I'm due in about 5 days. It hurts to the point I'm bent over when I first stand up

Thanks. It's just that I'm 43 and have never had ovulation aches before, but good to know that's all it is.

I've started getting them too, maybe it's an age related thing?

It moved around to my abdomen during the night - it was so like period cramps, in the same area, and kept me awake. Hopefully it'll die down today.
