14 year old with boyfriends

So I don't have any friends with teenage daughters and have muddled my way through so far.

Please can I ask what rules and regulations you have in place for your teenage daughter and boyfriends?

When do they see each other? How much time? What do you do if he avoids you like the plague and barely even says hello!!?

I have a 'young' 14yo DD with a newish 'young' boyfriend.

Not allowed upstairs.
She walks the long route home from school with him and we facilitate seeing him occasionally at the weekend for an afternoon, either outside for an activity or at home.

We check her phone.
