Top winter coat recommendations please

I’m out of the loop.

Can anyone make a recommendation?

Happy to spend a good amount with a view to making it last. Perhaps like a Canada Goose type coat.

Are you after weatherproof or smart/tailored?

If the latter I can recommend Joseph, Winser London and Marella.

Hmm would quite like casual but extremely warm, perhaps with fur hood.

I won't buy Canada Goose for ethical reasons, but I can recommend Didriksons coats. I have the Nadine Parka which is warm and waterproof. I bought it earlier this year as my winter dog walking coat and I would have no hesitation in buying another.
