Is it me or is this holiday dragging? What are you up to?

First world problems I know and it's nice to have the time off work.... but we are bored and getting on each others nerves! Boys pottering with Lego or tablets, we went swimming yesterday but that was a big effort.

Today's excitement likely to be Asda and putting washing away.

Got some family visiting on Tuesday but they're not back to school til the 7th. Still over a week! I think I need some inspiration! Nothing concrete planned. Not much money for outings but I think we do need to get out more!

Got a dog? Or borrow one for a big play out.

We've had a really lazy time thus far though, due to tiredness and the almost 4yo being poorly.

Will go bowling and ice skating next week and have a few play dates. I am just having a few more days of rest and overnindulgence first!!

We ve seen lots of family and pretty much visited every green area close by, thanks to having mild weather. We ve had a couple of days out.
We re not quite bored yet and are happy to carry on like this for a few days more.

I’m feeling it too. I dislike the limbo between Christmas and new year. All the days roll in to one. We always do panto, meal out, dog walks maybe an odd bit of shopping but it just feels monotonous. Mine go back on the 7th and I’ll be glad to get back to normality and a routine to be honest.

Me too. Am really regretting taking the time off work, it has been totally wasted. This has been the most underwhelming Christmas ever, and I wish it would just fuck off now.
