We just moved house and, hopefully temporarily, I have only 2 hobs, a rice cooker, and George Foreman grill. I don't have a wok/frying pan.

We've eaten a lot of pasta (pesto/meatballs etc) and curry. Two adults, two children, one of whom doesn't do spicy and not mad on couscous currently.

Please help - I'm out of ideas and whilst my kids would live on pesto pasta or meatballs I would like some variety 😬

Bean chilli - couple of onions, carrots, sticks celery ( I’ve made without these before and isn’t much different, but good for adding veg)3 tins beans, 1 tin tomato’s, packet of chilli spice and some spinach ( frozen works well). Takes about 20 minutes to cook in one pan.

Homemade soup with crusty bread and grated cheese.
Bangers and mash.
Salmon fillets (or other fish) with baby potatoes and salad.
Using the grill thing can't you do any sort of meat ? (I am not familiar withthem) so steak, chops etc, if your children eat that sort of thing.
You can fry in a large saucepan - it's just a bit more difficult to turn things over/not so much room.
Wraps? You only need one pan to cook the filling (I usually use the boxed kits), the rest is salad.

Thank you. Chilli and wraps excellent ideas (and duh I make them all the time usually). Soup also good as are bangers and mash. I need to think of some ways to make boiled potatoes interesting (to be fair the kids love them, it's just DH who gets bored of them).

Plan for this week's meals coming up.

Scrambled eggs and smoked salmon.
Omelettes, with lots of veg.
French toast.

Could you pick up a slow cooker from anywhere? You can get fairly decent ones for about £20-£30 and can do a huge variety of meals in them.

Tacos or quesadillas
Stew and dumplings
Potato rostis or fish cakes to.use up boiled potato in a different way
