I'm guessing lots of you may have children who got lol dolls for Xmas. DD is 5 and was given the "bigger surprise" for Xmas.

I'm just wondering what we do with the little balls they come in? Are they supposed to be kept? I'm inclined to get rid of them but don't want DD in 6 months to say we were supposed to keep them. Thanks.

I get rid of them. Don’t know what the norm is though!

I put them in recycling.

Do you mean the jelly stuff they’re wrapped in? DD keeps hers and uses it for “disguises” for the dolls. She’s keeping the plastic capsules the wigs came in too. The inner packaging she’s thrown away.

I mean the inner packaging of bigger surprise - the layers that everything sits in has been thrown away.

I put them in recycling.

Are they recyclable? I thought i'd read somewhere that they couldn't be recycled.

Oh the plastic balls, we keep those too! They have foot holes that you can use to stand the dolls in.

We have a couple of the balls, but throw most away.

We keep a couple of the full size balls as the dolls can stand on the foot holes. But the little balls had the little surprises in like in the bigger or Pearl surprise get binned
