Will you be choosing some for yourself this year, if so what and why? 
I know some people find it pointless to set them but I find it easier to stick to than at any other time of the year!
Which have you completed in the past and has it had a long term affect?
Mine this year are:
- read 6 books
- get control over my finances (I've bought a budget book to help me with this)
- run 10k (I need to lose weight but I know I do better with a fitness goal than a weight loss goal as such)
- make more time for my friends
- ask my GP to be referred to be assessed for ASD
I'm also hoping this year is the year I'll open my own business but that's a case of waiting for properties and hoping I'm the first to get to them so I don't really want it on my list!
When I was about 15 I did a full 12 months without chocolate, biscuits, cake or sweets! I've definitely made up for it since then
