New Years Resolutions

Will you be choosing some for yourself this year, if so what and why? Smile
I know some people find it pointless to set them but I find it easier to stick to than at any other time of the year!

Which have you completed in the past and has it had a long term affect?

Mine this year are:

  • read 6 books
  • get control over my finances (I've bought a budget book to help me with this)
  • run 10k (I need to lose weight but I know I do better with a fitness goal than a weight loss goal as such)
  • make more time for my friends
  • ask my GP to be referred to be assessed for ASD

I'm also hoping this year is the year I'll open my own business but that's a case of waiting for properties and hoping I'm the first to get to them so I don't really want it on my list!

When I was about 15 I did a full 12 months without chocolate, biscuits, cake or sweets! I've definitely made up for it since then Grin

Feel free to share yours!

I make resolutions all the time and I especially love new year ones. Some I’ve achieved but the one that I’ve not achieved yet is losing weight. I’m going to focus on that in January.
Also
Get back to running
Do some yoga
Read at least 12 books
Put my phone away more
