What was the best thing you bought in 2018?

It can be for yourself, your home or maybe a gift for someone else.

For me it a dishwasher! Even though DP works away all week and eldest (that was still at home) has just moved out so there's just DD and I most of the time, but I've always wanted one.

I thought for 2 of us it would maybe be a waste of money, but DP took a cupboard out so we could fit the dishwasher in, just a slimline, but OMG I LOVE it!

It really was fantastic over Christmas and I've washed every single bit of crockery/glasses/pots in it and now they're all sparkling!

I don't know why I waited so long Grin

What have you bought that made you or someone else extremely happy?

A DAB converter for my car radio do I can listen to 6Music on the go. Oh and a torch keyring has made my early morning trips to feed the chickens so much easier!

DH bought it for me so not my purchase but the best thing I got in 2018 was a Stand Up Paddleboard - I love it sooooo much 💖

My tumble dryer. I no longer have clothes airers taking up room and towels hung over the radiators; absolutely love it.

Shark vacuum cleaner. Carpets look so much cleaner. I get joy every time I use it. Sad I know.

Another dishwasher one here. No idea why I have not bought one before. Kitchen looks alot tidier since as no clean or dirty dishes on view.

Also an electric aromatherapy diffuser that I got as a present for Christmas. I love the coloured lights and trying out different blends.

Oh some lively things here!

I just bought a new vacuum, going by this I wish I had went for the Shark but I had to go cheaper after buying the dishwasher Grin

MardAsSnails. That's brilliant, well done! Maybe next year I could be saying the same thing, although I'd be happy at a size 14!

Lumie alarm clock light to wake me up in the mornings. It has drastically improved my mood and makes getting up early a lot more bearable.
