I always get cash for christmas. Every year i buy myself an item of clothing and or some boots. Then the rest of the money gets swallowed up in living/bills etc. I bought some jeans for £25 in the fat face sale but apart from a new diary i cant think of anything else i want or need. I have boots.

What can i buy?

I bought myself a Nintendo Switch Grin

What about a weekend break?

LEMtheoriginal · 29/12/2018 20:52

Weekend is a nice idea but logistically awkward due to no childcare or doggie care. We live by the sea so would like a citybreak.

No. Think i want to buy something..

Have you a hobby - one that perhaps you used to love in the past and have abandoned ? No hobby? Find one. Use the money towards equipment/classes etc. I personally would buy a sewing machine and pay for lessons and materials etc (well after I get new glasses which I need but is boring)!

HolgerLowCarbingLoser · 29/12/2018 21:02

Good quality wool coat!

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 29/12/2018 21:03

My dad bought tickets for himself and DM, v good seats and paid £360 (£90 per seat per show)

ilovebruuuceandbags · 29/12/2018 21:03

Nice new bag or purse - something you would use every day but wouldn't usually buy for yourself? Coach have a really good sale on at the moment, they are lovely quality too.

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 29/12/2018 21:03

So there’s definitely cheaper seats

hmmwhatatodo · 29/12/2018 21:04

A nice chair for your bedroom.

WhiteWashGails · 29/12/2018 21:08

Do you have to spend it now? Wait til you can think of something you really want Smile

HolgerLowCarbingLoser · 29/12/2018 21:11

LEMtheoriginal · 29/12/2018 21:30
