Got endometriosis and been on the depo shot for 3 and a bit months it’s given me a constant period. So I’ve been wearing reusable pads and some organic cotton ones otherwise I get a rash. Past month or so I’ve been getting itchy and sore doctor did a swap thing all came back clear. Realised I had a bit of a rash figured it was nappy type rash kept putting sudocreme on it. Today it was getting worse but I couldn’t really see it so I gave my bits a trim the stubble has made everything ten times worse it hurts to walk I put some Waitrose baby bum cream on didn’t help so now I’m in the bath what can I do

You poor thing.

If the rash is like nappy rash would you be able to 'air' the area at home tonight? Might be a bit embarrassing but sit on an old towel? I have a two year old and one year old and the little one has very sensitive skin that definitely benefits from a little bit of an airing.

Other than that metanium ointment is pretty good and are you able to use tampons?

Paddington23 · 29/12/2018 17:46

Can’t use tampons due to how heavy and the fact they hurt will air it out later if I can

Bless you, horrible isnt it. Relaxing in a bath to soothe the area is a good idea, try only to dab the area when drying. I second letting it all hang out and air it seriously it will help. If pain is too much try some paracetmol
