Just been sent a u card.

I have received a u debit card in the post . I have never even heard of them never mind applied for one .

I have tried emailing there customer service but not a lot I can do on a Saturday . Has anyone heard of this ?

Has somebody applied for it in your name? Looks like an online bank account

Have you opened it and it's definitely a real card? I sometimes get letters from banks I'm not with with a fake cardboard type card-usual for Vanquis credit cards

No it’s a proper code with a number to validate card

I received a bank card I'd never applied for this year. Called the company who cancelled it, called my bank to check no payments had been set up to it. On their advice also used the Experian one month free trial to see if there was a record of it being applied for.

Also reported it to Action Fraud. I needed a ref from them before the company that issued it would cancel it.
