Holiday abroad around Brexit

We booked a week’s holiday in Tenerife a few months ago without honestly worrying too much about Brexit. We leave before Bexit day and return after it. Are we mad? I tend to think ‘oh, I’m sure it will all be ok’ but just read an article in the newspaper about the potential problems...UK driving license not being valid...cancelled flights...endless queues at Border control. Is this just scare-mongering? Should we postpone? What would you do?

I'd get my currency well before going.

Make sure my insurance was watertight and in place and go.

I think there will be a solution for driving licences etc. You can get international driving licences from Countries which have well lower standards than ours.

Spain, Greece, the Islands etc want to retain the business from the UK holiday market, other there's going to be business going to the wall this year across the EU.
