Holiday recommendations please

Hello after your holiday recommendations please for 2019 summer hols. Europe, half board or breakfast only. Myself and two daughters (11,6) tend to prefer smaller places rather than a big sprawling complex. Walking distance to eateries but happy to hire a car too. Did anyone go somewhere last summer they can recommend???

Port de Pollenca in Mallorca is a lovely, compact resort. Loads of restaurants and bars, some very good hotels and a pretty pedestrianised beachfront for strolling along in the evenings.

We went to Kos in may this year with DD(6) and really enjoyed it. One of the quieter Greek islands (neon lit towns aren't for us) and small enough that we could explore most of the island in a couple of days with a hire car which was also a complete bargain. Lovely beaches and nice places to eat out too.

Couple of years ago when DD was 3 we went to Cala n'bosch in Menorca and really enjoyed there too.

Ooh whereabouts in Kos were you? Sounds right up my street!
