Alexa question

Hi, sorry, super boring. We just bought an echo for my son after having ours for about a month. When I got my echo, I signed up for the trials for Spotify and amazon music with a view to cancelling one (Would probably keep Amazon as I think it works pretty well)

But is it right you can stream music from both devices with one music account? Or is 5ere a way to say, upgrade my prime account so I can listen to in on 2 ? Or say set up one echo from my phone and keep the other on my iPad?

Thanks guys!

I don't know the specifics of Alexa but my Amazon music account let's me stream from 4 different devices. There should be something in the T&Cs to confirm if that applies to Alexa too.

Thank you! It might be because both Alex’s are set up on my iPad so it’s the same device iyswim?

If you want to stream music from more than 1 device then you need Amazon music unlimited.

We have Spotify here and I think you can connect something like 5 or 7 devices from one account.

Amazon music has different subscription tiers and you need to be on a certain one that lets you play from both devices at the same time - think looking at our settings it needs to be on the "family" plan not the "individual" one.

I'm assuming that's what you're trying to do - play music in your son's room and your room at the same time.

Yes that I’ll look into it! Thank you!
