Quick weaning question!

My apologies, I know there is a weaning topic, I'm just putting this here for traffic!

DD is 8 months, if I was to give her weetabix for breakfast would it have to be with her formula or could I use cows milk, assuming she'll have a bottle shortly after?

She usually has porridge made with warm water so I'm unsure....

She can have cow's milk in food, just not as a "main drink".
