I need inspiration. I have finished all the turkey and all the rich food and need something plain and hearty.

What are you having this weekend?

I think I am going to do a non christmassy, standard pasta bake tomorrow. Yum. Ww do have leftover beef though so that will go into noodles too.

It will be a beef dish, I am over poultry.

Not sure but will prob'ly fancy spag bol like FortunesFave, above . Fed up with turkey, gammon, pork, pigs in blankets and stuffing. Much as I loved it at the time but one gets beyond all that, nicely served up with bubble and jackets. Time to move on.

My cats have enjoyed some cold (rather flaky/crumby turkey), but even they know when they've had enough.

Spag bol rules!

We're having Tacos and corn on the cob tonight. Can't wait!

I think it’s spag Bol for the dc and homemade vegetable soup for me!

We had spag Bol last night and the leftovers are being turned into a chilli today!

Moussaka tonight with a side salad .

We’re doing a cabbage and bacon soup, because we have two heads of Savoy cabbage that need using. Otherwise we’d be doing a minestrone - it’s such a light and gentle soup, but still so filling and comforting. Just right for relaxing after all the excess!

I'm cooking the ham. I think we might have ham with mash and veg. Then tomorrow some kind of pasta with ham.
