Starting to feel sad that Christmas is over for another year :-(

Full disclosure, I LOVE Christmas and look forward to it from the start of November. Our Christmas is always so magical, wonderful time spent with family and I am so grateful we have none of the dramas and issues you read about on here.

Problem is I get SO SO down as Christmas starts to wind up. We still have 4 days of the holiday before I go back to work and plenty more family time but I feel like I stop fully enjoying it because I focus more on literally counting down the hours of how little time there is left.

It is partly because I am not fully happy in my job so of course one element is the fact I really don't want to go back to work.

Can anyone give me any suggestions of how they get past the post xmas blues!

I love Christmas but I love January too- I like a few new year resolutions, we always book our summer holidays 1st week of jan, and plan our year ahead. And because I'm a loser I LoVe the January health kick. (This year I'm going sugar free). I like the spring clean after the decorations go away and the promise of warmer weather and lighter evenings coming.

I'm delighted it's over. Looking forward to snowdrops and daffodils now.
