What iPhone do I have?

I'm 🤔 about how I can tell what iPhone I have! It's probably a 5, but a 5 what? The person who gave it to me 3 odd years ago is sure it's a 4! How can I tell?

You can find your iPhone model number by looking at the small text on the back of the iPhone. There should be something that says "Model AXXXX". Match that to the list below to find out which iPhone model you own.

Open settings, click your name at the top, scroll down to the bottom - it'll say "this iPhone ...." (eg mine says this iPhone 7)

Mine doesn’t either, fucking infuriating! Another Apple fucking irritant is not knowing what memory my phone has- I know I can find it in settings but how hard would it be to put the make and model on the back since there’s other crap on there

This should help OP launch the iOS Settings app and navigate to General > About > Model

Can you post a photo of the back of it using a mirror and I can tell you!

Do you have the option of unlocking it with a thumb print?

A 4 has curved sides but a 5 has straight, flat sides.

It says it's a 5; but would it also say if it were, like an 'S' or 'X' or something?

Or did the iPhone 5 only come in the one model?
