Exploding kittens game

Question about exploding kittens - put it in more than one chat as not sure where it should go!
When you play a defuse card, you reinsert the exploding kitten card. Do you then take a card from the pile top end your turn?

No don’t think so - picking up the exploding kitten card counts as your turn.

halcyondays · 28/12/2018 19:39

No, you've already picked up the Exploding Kitten.

millimat · 28/12/2018 20:33

OK thanks
Next question : do you keep putting the exploding kittens cards back in the deck once you've exploded?

That's what o thought. DH says it goes back in so that the game gets harder to stay in.

Can someone explain this game as DS desperate to play but I cannot for the life of me fathom it out 😱

LEMtheoriginal · 29/12/2018 11:26

I love exploding kittens. We play the not safe for work version in the very rare quiet times at work. Got the more age appropriate one for dd but in all honesty who actially reads the cards? There seem to be fewer kittend in this pack though.

BlackCatSleeping · 29/12/2018 11:28

I got this game for Christmas but I couldn’t find any diffuse cards in the pack so we can’t play it. All 6 of them were missing. Apparently I can send a stamped address envelope for them but I live abroad. Does anyone know about this. Sad

BlackCatSleeping · 29/12/2018 15:47

Ok, on further inspection, we had double the nope, see the future and skip cards but no diffuse, shuffle or favor cards, so the issue was easily solved with a marker pen. We had fun playing it, but I think it gets more fun the more you play.

Pineapplemum there's an excellent 4 minute video explaining how to play on their website. Much easier to understand than the written instructions.
