Do Nice biscuits not have a sugar topping anymore? When did that happen?

Admittedly they were never my favourite so it's a long time since I've had one as I do all the shopping for the family and don't buy them. But they definitely used to have a sugar topping. A relative gave us a McVities family selection box for Christmas and the Nice biscuits don't have sugar. What's the point of them then?

Ritz crackers also don't have a crunchy salty topping. Very disappointed with my annual box this year! Another Christmas treat off the list.
