Lunchboxes and Vertigo

There isn’t a specific connection between these two that I’m aware of. Apart from the fact that I’ve been experiencing one and need ideas for the other.

I'm not suffering from a lunchbox, just to be clear.

Supplementary info:

Had mild vertigo (dizziness when moving too quickly or bending over, feels a bit weird when reading and sort of like I'm permanently 2 or 3 festive gins in) on and off for 3 weeks since having a migraine, and I’m not sure whether this is something Of Note that requires a trip to the Dr.

Plus, I need inspiration for quick, simple, grab and go healthy options for lunchboxes for my 3 DC. 2 primary one secondary. That won’t take me an hour every evening to prepare. They have been having cooked lunches for the last year but I am a single mum and we need to be more focused on nutrition than convenience, and I want to take them on holiday somewhere nice which means saving like buggery. Cheaper and healthier lunches must be possible, surely? (Or am I wishing for the moon on a stick with this?)

Any ideas on either would be most welcome!

As a fellow sufferer of Vertigo I recommend Cawthorn Cooksey exercises, they help so much. The doctor can give you Stemetil which helps with the feeling of sickness if you get that. Also if it continues the Epley manoeuvre can be done to help, but I think that would need a referall. However it sounds like yours is just an inner ear problem and should go on its own.

Lunch boxes can you make use of left overs?
Pasta for dinner then Tuna pasta salad for lunch. Pizza fine cold in lunch box next day. Cous cous works well, just add some veggies and protein.
Fritata or quiche are ideal for this.
Other wise just ring the changes with types of bread and fillings. Eg bagels and cream cheese, wraps with grated hummus and carrots, tuna sweetcorn in pitas, cheese and tomato rolls.
Sometimes do toasted pita strips with hummus and guacamole and crudités.

I developed vertigo after a medical procedure and I used Brandt Daroff exercises, which fixed it after a couple of goes.

Thanks all. Will try the Brandt tariff thingies and left over dinner is a fab idea for their lunches. They would be so excited to have a warm pasta dish in a food flask- will get on it!
