Can anyone recommend a cctv system please?

Need a decent (but not too expensive) camera for the front of the house and driveway. Car was vandalised last night so want to be able to keep an eye on it.

Not Verisure (good system, terrible service response). Not ring (motion detector is rubbish, didn’t notice me walk up the drive waving my arms. Swann is ok, seems to work but not the best picture quality.

Remember under GDPR, if you have a CCTV system YOU are now a DATA CONTROLLER. If any cameras cover a public place then you MUST register your details with the Data Commissioners Office. It costs £30 to do so.

As a Data Controller, any member of the public can request you provide them with any footage you have in relation to them and you are legally obliged to provide it.

There are big fines for non compliance.
