How soon did you say I love you to your partner?

You know, I have no idea! It was about 23 years ago.
I know when I did start to love him, which was when he came over to relax and I was in pieces over an exam coming up, and he helped me for hours to learn some complex scientific mechanisms which meant nothing to him. And still don't. Apparently he fell for me a bit earlier when he told me either his parents would drop in for dinner in an hour, or he could spend an hour arguing why not. We had no food in so I took him to Tesco, bought food that was quick to cook, told him to chill, and it was nice to meet his folks. Apparently FIL loved me from then too. MIL is a terrible cook!

Probably we knew each other for a year, in a relationship for a few months?

DH told me ridiculously early. I can’t exactly remember. A few weeks if that. I was slower.

After 5 months but it took another month or so for her to say it back. We finally said it to each other properly the day after whilst on holiday in a very romantic location, which was nice.

Why do you ask? Are you thinking of saying It?

I'm wondering this too! We're 3 months in and I really want to say it but keep holding back because I don't know how he feels. But I really want to tell him!

I can't actually remember, it was 30ish years ago. But it was quite early in the relationship as we both knew how we felt very quickly.

My now DH told me after about 2-3 weeks and me a few weeks afterwards.
