I got away with it again this year but one year my DD was looking for an overnight bag and trying to be self sufficient and pack her own bag but unbeknownst to me she looked in the big cupboard above my bed and found all the presents. She came down in tears and confessed, I couldn't be angry with her as it wasn't a deliberate act
Another year once she then knew Santa didn't exist I then hid them under her bed, it was the last place she'd look for them!
