My oven died on 23rd December Confused

Looking for recommendations - built in electric double ovens. So much choice and variety...?!!

Any brand recommendations?

I love my NEFF double oven, it’s my second in 25 years, the first one I sold when I sold my flat and this one is 18 years old and still going strong. Reliable temps, decent range of settings - speedy but lasts forever so good value for money.

Spendy not speedy

Did all the research eighteen months ago. Opted to sell the single oven, microwave above one which was nearly new when we moved in. It drove me nuts. Opted for the Neff with self cleaning ovens because I am lazy.

Self cleaning is a must.

Got an AEG recently. The reviews all said great oven for the price, but the temps and functions are on the sides of the knobs, which means short people can't see them easily if you have the top at eye level. The timer is also stupidly quiet.

But it's beautifully quiet compared to old oven, and for the amount we got it for I'm happy to buy a couple loud timers.

I HATED my double oven! I’ve just replaced it with a single.

House came with a NEFF double and I gave it a chance as thought I might get used to it. Nope!

Got a new one 2 weeks ago.

Thanks for the responses. Big family so double a requirement - used to have one but when moved to new house there was only a single. Looking forward to getting a double back!!

We've got a Bosch that was here when we moved in 5 years ago, it cooks really well and has been reliable (touch wood)
