Can Anyone Recommend any Hotels Near Guys Hospital

Could anyone recommend hotels that are near to Guys Hospital? Unfortunately my mum has to go into Guys in January. I live in Kent and my sister lives in the Midlands so we want to stay close to mum. I thought the Premier Inn at County Hall might work but wonder if anyone has any other suggestions which might be better.

There’s a prem inn (‘Bankside’) that’s close to guys (and right next to borough market). Also another on on borough high st or Southwark st (can’t remember which) that I think is s bit cheaper usually.

Smart City Apartments or Hilton London Bridge are both closest (apart from the Shard but assuming that’s not what you want!). The Hilton is one of the nicer ones.

There’s an Ibis, Novotel, Mercure and Travelodge in Blackfriars which is a 10 min walk/one stop on tube, and closer than the Premier Inn you mentioned. Blackfriars will be much cheaper generally than around Guys/London Bridge. It’s a safe area but a little quieter.

Also have a look at Native Bankside. It's near The Globe theatre and has studio rooms with kitchenettes.

I’ve stayed in the Bankside Premier Inn and it was fine. Will be much easier for Guys than the one at County Hall. Hope everything goes ok for your mum.

Novotel, Waterloo is in walking distance and lovely.

Thank you so much everyone for all the suggestions. I will take a look at all of them. I would normally google this sort of thing myself but I'm a bit stressed about mum going into hospital so I'm not firing on all cylinders!
