Smart watch

What is best smartwatch? I am looking to buy one, and want opinions and reviews

What do you actually want it to do?

I have a Garmin, because the running data whilst on the move (pace, distance etc) what interests me most, but the notifications (such as who is ringing, texts, reminders other pop ups etc are handy too). Mine doesn't do music, but higher spec ones do

@AuntieStella I would like something that does the notifications, for texts and calls etc, and something for fitness, as I play rugby and run

I have an Apple Watch which I love. Mines a first generation so doesn't have all the new functionality that the one we have just bought Dd has. But does everything I need and more.

Dd did have FitBits previously. She really liked them but we have found that the straps are not great. Despite being really good (she's a careful teenager) with stuff she's had three straps break on the Charge HR - 2 different models. Fitbit are generally good at replacing them but it's not the point really. She's had three straps break in same time I've had the same Apple Watch. The smart watch bit itself always seemed to work well though.

@Aragog thanks for that, I was thinking the Fitbit Versa but not 100% sure
