Returning gifts, do you say anything?

So DH has bought me lots of lovely gifts, but I think he went a bit mad in a jewellery shop, and I love one pair of earrings but really won't wear the other items he got, really not my taste and I honestly prefer fashion like hush necklaces not fancy ones I may loose.

This isn't cheap and I have no idea why he got so much!!

What would you do? Or what do you do?

To be honest, as it's your DH, I think you should tell him. I think it's reasonable to say that they are beautiful but you would be too nervous to wear them so please could you get a couple of more fashion type items?

I expect he will be upset.. but I think I'll have to say, as I also know he would be in overdraft for these gifts.
