Agghhh Amazon, help anyone with returns

Amazon lost some parcel of mine, they apologised, re orders the item and gave me a voucher, they were unable to cancel the order as it was in transit. Anyway they’ve turned up and I want to return then. However I can only find label free post office returns and my post office don’t do label free. Anyone know where I might get a label from.

The only way I’ve done it is by printing a label direct from amazon. They do PO or Hermes. Both have been fine.

If you really kick off they tend to let you donate the unwanted item and refund anyway

The print label doesn’t seem to be an option anymore just this stupid code that my post office don’t do

I had same problem and emailed (through account and then orders page) they emailed me a returns label. Was frustrating - lots about Amazon has become frustrating recently. Personally have lost trust in them - items not clearly identified as coming from China and taking months, reallynodd oricing so never convinced I’m not being ripped off, review factories churning out 5 star reviews etc etc. Feel very differently about them and use them less/more selectively.

On the app, scroll to customer service and then 'contact us' and when you enter the chat window after a few clicks there is a little icon at bottom of a person w headset. Click on that. Then ask them to email you a label to print and they will.

I’ve lost faith in them too Heron - and I used to buy from them all the time. I’ve noticed however that everytime I have submitted a bad review they reject it. The latest issue I had was to do with an item I ordered several months ago. It still hasn’t arrived. I tried to submit a negative review but they reject the review. I always used to check the reviews before purchasing an item but now I feel like I can’t trust the reviews so am wary about buying.

Just remembered a really great episode of fantastic podcast called Reply All. Episode from summer was called The Magic Store - all about what has changed at Amazon and how most of us are completely unaware of lots of it. Really interesting.
